Visser Elevator initiated as a family business in 1946 when brothers Lane and John purchased the elevator and feed mill from the Vande Berg family. In 1972 Larry and Roger took over the business. On January 1, 2004, Roger retired and Jeff became president, and Larry’s son Kris became a partner.
All of the partners were raised working at Visser Elevator learning the business. Each brought new ideas and learning experiences they inherited from their fathers.
We focus on both hog and poultry feeds at our main milling facility and also have a sister mill focusing on strictly poultry feed. The poultry mill, Center Fresh Egg, was built in 2005.
Our mission is to be a leader in providing quality service in feed processing and grain handling and providing our customers with the best service we can provide.
Our long-range goal is to improve our services at existing locations, since we firmly believe quality service is the key to our future growth.
We will support the communities we serve, offer meaningful opportunities for our employees, and work toward justifying the confidence of our customers and management.
We look forward to serving the needs and services of the Ag industry.
